By subscribing to the PIC RSS Feed you can receive regular alerts about newly submitted data, including links to datasets.

You can either select topic(s) of interest using the GCMD Theme keywords, or simply be notified when any data is uploaded to the site by subscribing (without selecting keywords).

The feeds are published using ATOM 2.0 and most modern browsers will support this.
